This Jeep gets stared at everywhere it goes the white pearl paint and blue graphics really make it stand out. Along with the new interior
94k miles on odometer, all steel original body parts, engine, tranny, axles transfer case (drivetrain) was all redone 5000 miles ago, clean undercarriage no rust, 350 chevy motor with 650 cfm carb, long tube headers with side exit glass pack mufflers. It sounds throaty but not too loud. Heavy duty SM465 4 speed manual transmission mated to a NP205 transfer case you can't get more heavy duty than this setup for a jeep. you can make the np205 twin stick if you want) I have the twin stick that goes with it). Warn locking hubs, Eagle Alloy 15x10 wheels wrapped with 35"x 12.50"x15 Bf Goodrich AT KO tires. New Phoenix graphics Renegade kit. Jeep is painted pearl white with a metallic blue roll cage and dash. Has a new YJ leaf spring conversion on it. New front seats and rear seat, Brand new carpeting with custom embroidered CJ5 floor mats, New custom stereo with 6.5” JBLspeakers, JVC water proof head unit-(bluetooth/aux in, am/fm, sat) JBL 12” subwoofer and a Rockville 4000 watt 5 channel amp.
The YJ suspension conversion on this jeep allows the older jeeps like this one to drive fairly close to the newer style jeeps(87-97 models), most older jeeps are very rough and bouncy to drive this YJ conversion completely tames the old rugged bouncing around these are known for. You'll be able to drive down the highway without fear of a twitchy steering wheel! Brand new SOA(spring over axle) YJ leaf spring conversion kit( 4 rear NEW YJ leaf springs 5 leafs), New YJ shackles, New sky jacker shocks and steering stabilizer, AMC 20 rear axle and Dana 30 front axle(with custom welded shock mounts on front and rear axles for better travel), New rear driveshaft. New OEM fender flares. I have tons of pictures of the transformation of this jeep from before it had the suspension converted. this jeep ran great before but was straight up dangerous to drive on the road and most of these cj5's are dangerous unless the suspension is converted. now that its been converted and been tested/ tweaked it is ready for anything. Has about 14” of travel in front and around 12” of travel in the rear. Can drive it at 100 with one finger on the wheel. I cruise at 75-80 mph on highway for 100-200 miles trips.
