There were supposedly 5,000 of these made, and the vast majority of them were gone by 2005. Of the remaining handful, most are very high mileage, beat to death, and white. This stunning navy blue ultra-low mileage example has been in our private family collection for the last few years, stored in our personal garage except perfect weather days. The S150 Toyota Crown is easily the most drivable and easy-to-own JDM that is truly Japan exclusive. They are not common and always a joy to see in the wild, but a Turbo Diesel like this is exponentially more rare and exclusive. This is the highest driver grade before we get to “show car” grade, with a few bumps and bruises, but factor in the fact that it sounds and smells like a tractor, and it is easily the coolest car anywhere it goes.
